Dream11 and My11Circle dominate fantasy cricket in India, and most players eventually try both. Dream11 launched in 2008 and is the biggest name in the game, while My11Circle, launched in 2019 by Games24x7, built its following on smaller contests and deeper player stats. One thing has changed for both in 2026: after the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act 2025, real-money contests were banned in India, so both apps now run free-to-play contests for Indian users, supported by ads and sponsorships. That makes the comparison about gameplay, not entry fees, and the differences are bigger than most players expect.

Dream11 is still the default choice if you want the biggest contests. Its mega contests attract millions of entries, which means enormous prize pools but also enormous competition. Winning a Dream11 mega contest is genuinely hard, because you are competing against lakhs of teams, many of them built by serious players with multiple entries. The prize at the top is large, but the odds of reaching it are long, and most players should treat mega contests as a lottery ticket, not a plan.

My11Circle deliberately keeps its contests smaller. Its user base is around 30 million compared with Dream11's 140 million-plus, so the same skill level goes further. Smaller fields mean a well-built team has a realistic chance of finishing in the prizes, and many players report steadier results there. The trade-off is that the top prizes are smaller. If your goal is consistent small wins rather than one jackpot, My11Circle's structure suits you better, while Dream11 suits players who want the biggest stage.

The scoring systems look similar at a glance but reward different things. Dream11 uses the classic setup: your captain earns double points and your vice-captain earns 1.5 times, and its scoring scale is high, with 25 points for a wicket, so one big performance can transform your rank. My11Circle uses a lower scoring scale and adds a Super Player option that earns three times the points, which changes captain strategy completely, because one correct Super Player call matters more than the rest of your team combined.

My11Circle also has the stronger stats layer at the point of team selection. When you pick a player you can see head-to-head history, venue splits, recent form by format and pitch factors without leaving the app. Dream11 shows solid stats too, but its strength is breadth: it covers far more sports and contest formats, from head-to-head battles to private leagues. Data-driven players tend to prefer My11Circle's interface, while players who like variety and the biggest contests stay with Dream11.

Pick Dream11 if you want the largest prize pools, the widest choice of sports and contests, and the most polished app experience. It is the best option for players who enjoy the big-event feeling of a mega contest and do not mind long odds. Pick My11Circle if you want smaller fields, better odds of winning something, and the deepest stats while building your team. It is the better choice for players who study form and matchups and want that work to pay off more often.

The honest truth is that neither app makes you a better player. The skills that decide results, reading the pitch, checking the toss, picking a captain who will definitely play a full role, and choosing the right contest size, work exactly the same on both. Try both free for a few weeks, track which one gives you better results, and then commit to the one that fits your style.

There is no single winner between Dream11 and My11Circle. Dream11 wins on scale and prize pools, My11Circle wins on winnability and stats, and the right choice is the one that matches how you actually play.
